It is the Roaring 20’s and Millie Dilmount has moved from her home in Kansas to New York City where she plans to fulfill her own American Dream as a new woman…to marry her boss. As soon as she gets a job. Soon after arriving Millie becomes a flapper and begins to woo her boss, Mr. Trevor Graydon. Unfortunately, Mr. Graydon remains oblivious to her affections.
Unfortunately for Millie, one of her new friends, Miss Dorothy, quickly becomes the target of a white slavery ring, operated out of the very hotel that Millie and her friends are staying in. The evil Mrs. Meers steals orphan girls out of the hotel and sells them into slavery. Now it is up to Millie and her friend Jimmy to save Miss Dorothy and foil the plot of Mrs. Meers. All is not what it seems in this traditionally hilarious musical adapted from the 1967 Julie Andrews film.
